SUP: oR\US Transcript displaying for Students in lower School Levels

Shae needs to separate the middle school report cards into 5th & 6th and 7th and 8th. It is causing confusing for students and parents to see both report cards. Call all grade plans associated with 7th and 8th grade courses be copied and made to be unique and separate from the ones associated with 5th and 6th grade courses?

I believe this is a complete list:
• MS Final Only - Numeric
• MS Full Year MX and FX 80-20 Grade Plan Group
• MS Full Year No Exams Grade Plan Group
• MS Quarter Rotation - Numeric Grade Plan Group
• MS Semester - S Grade Plan Group
• MS Final Only - S
• MS Quarter Rotation - S - Grade Plan Group
• MS Full Year 1.03 MX and FX Grade Plan Group

Hello Shae, I don't quite understand what you're trying to accomplish. Is that list you provided an advanced list? Thanks,

Hello Shae,It is possible to manually change a grade plan for a course if grades have never been recorded against the grade plan. However if grades have been recorded for the grade plan the only way it can be removed is through a data fix. For courses that have been tied to a grade plan for more then a year the recommendation is to inactive the existing course and create a new course and tie it to the correct grade plan. If we did remove that, all historical data behind that grade plan would be removed as well. Feel free to reach out back to us if you have any further questions. All my best,

Hi Michael,

Is it possible to move the grades? They have been through 1 grading period this year and found it was an issue when it was time to print report cards.

The list is not an advanced list but a list of grade plans that are tied to 7th and 8th (and also 5th and 6th) grade courses.

Hello Susan, Yes it is possible to move over the grades as long as you create new grade plans to attach to the 7th and 8th grade courses. When you make them and send them to us, I recommend you write exactly what you wrote down for those courses. This makes it easier for our data team. all my best

I got caught up in another project. Will get that to you later today.

Thanks

When I got into the details, there were very few grades involved. I was able to add several grade plans, make a few manual grade adjustments, change the grade plan on a few course records, and changed the report cards to reflect the separated grade plans.

It worked. 5th and 6th graders see only the 5th-6th report card, and 7th and 8th graders see only the 7th-8th report card.

I would like to know why everyone, down to the 1st graders see the Upper School Transcript. Of course, it has no grades in it for anyone except the 9th-12th graders. The transcript has no Lower school or Middle school grade plans associated with it. It's pretty disconcerting to a first grade parents.

Is there any way to limit who sees that transcript?

Thanks

Example Student Samuel "Sam" Ahuja

Hi Shae,My name is Ray. I'm a Support Analyst assisting Mike with this case. Under Transcript Builder I see that on your US Transcript only grades 9-12 are selected. I impersonated Example Student Sam Ahuja from the K-3 year old Grade Level, and I've successfully duplicated the issue with US Transcript displaying. I am partnering with the appropriate internal resources to investigate this behavior further, and I will reach out to you with an update as soon as I have new information. Best regards,

Hey Leads,This one looks like a bug. I am not seeing any enrollments or grades for Samuel - transfer, dropped, or otherwise - and do not see any indications that he was mistakenly enrolled in a different school level originally.Additionally all selected Grade Plans for the transcript are pulling from US Grade Plan Groups.

Hey Raymond -Filed as critical (max 30 days)thanksArunaa
